We are delighted to share not only our renewed website, but our wonderful book as well, available in both Dutch (Zonnekindpoppen) and English (Sunshine Dolls), and a big surprise: a picture book inspired by how Kindergarten teacher Conny Dekker-de Hont, having to suddenly take over a sick colleague's class, brought her handmade Little Sunshine along to help her connect with the children. The drawings were created by our brilliant illustrator Janneke Rosenbrand. They tell the visual story "How Little Sunshine Came to Me".
What makes this little book unique is that it contains no text, which makes it suitable for children all over the world and on top of that, allows them to create their own little story. The story itself can be read here.

Traditionally, members of the Guild work together to maintain the quality of Sunshine Dolls by exchanging experiences and sharing and deepening their understanding of the pedagogical backgrounds. Many members of the Guild offer Sunshine Doll making courses and/or create Sunshine Dolls for sale. For specific commissions or information, you can contact them directly.
